When I paint I want to find my own voice. To do this it’s important for me to find different and interesting compositions and subjects. I find that the more personal a painting can be the more successful my painting becomes. I like to catch the viewer’s interest with a mood or subject. My goal in painting is to strike the attention of the viewer at first sight in the heart.
